The EAP225 V5 delivers 802.11ac Wave 2 MU-MIMO across dual bands — 450 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps on 5 GHz — simultaneously transmitting to multiple client devices for improved throughput in multi-device environments. Three internal omnidirectional antennas (4 dBi on 2.4 GHz, 5 dBi on 5 GHz) provide 115 m² (1250 ft²) coverage with support for 220+ concurrent clients. A single Gigabit RJ-45 port with 802.3af/at PoE and 24V Passive PoE support simplifies installation — the included PoE adapter enables deployment without a PoE switch. Up to 16 SSIDs (8 per band) with SSID-to-VLAN mapping enables traffic segmentation for employee and guest network separation. Seamless Roaming ensures uninterrupted connectivity as users move between APs, with video streams and calls maintained without interruption.
