Refund Policy
This Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs all purchases made through the made through AdvanceKart, the online retail platform operated by Advance Computers (“Advance”, “we”, “our”). By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the terms herein.
This Policy applies to all products sold by Advance through AdvanceKart, whether new, discounted, open-box, refurbished, or those sold with expired manufacturer warranties.
1. Order Cancellations
Orders for physical goods placed on AdvanceKart may be cancelled any time before they enter the shipping process, i.e., before handover to the logistics partner, through the “Your Orders” section of your account.
Once cancelled, prepaid orders will be refunded to the original payment method. If the order has already been shipped, a “Request Cancellation” may be submitted, after which the shipment will either be recalled or returned to us.
Refunds for such orders shall be processed after the item is received and inspected, and Advance may charge nominal return/logistics fees for orders already in transit. If delivery is attempted after you have requested cancellation, you must refuse the package.
Where multiple orders have been consolidated into a single shipment, cancellation of one item may require cancellation of all items included in that shipment due to courier and operational constraints.
2. Returns
Advance offers a 7-day return window from the date of delivery, strictly subject to compliance with the conditions set out herein.
Due to the sensitive nature of electronic components—where improper handling, electrostatic discharge, installation attempts, or tampering can permanently damage the product—returns are accepted only if the item is returned in the same condition as delivered, meaning unused, uninstalled, untested, unworn, and undamaged, with no signs of handling, mounting, assembly, or physical alteration.
All original packaging, brand box, labels, anti-static bags, MRP tags, serial-number stickers, tamper-proof seals, warranty documentation, manuals, bundled software, accessories, and proof of purchase must be fully intact. Any deviation, including missing components or evidence of use/installation, may result in rejection of the return or a deduction from the refund at Advance’s discretion.
3. Returns Process
Return requests must be initiated through the return option available in the customer’s account under the order details section. Customers may select the item to be returned, choose a reason, and submit the request for review.
Once a request is submitted, we will verify whether the item falls within the seven-day return period and meets the eligibility requirements for electronic products. If the return is approved, the customer will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”) along with a prepaid return label or shipping instructions. Items returned without an approved RMA may be refused.
After receiving the RMA, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the product is returned in the same condition in which it was delivered, meaning unused, uninstalled, untested, and in original packaging with all accessories, cables, anti-static bags, documentation, warranty cards, and manufacturer boxes included. Electronic components must not show any signs of installation, bent pins, thermal paste residue, BIOS access, product activation, tampering, or handling inconsistent with new merchandise. Products must be shipped only to the return address provided in the RMA.
Once the product reaches our facility , it will undergo inspection to confirm serial numbers, packaging completeness, and the absence of damage or signs of use. This process generally takes two to five business days. If the return is approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method, or a replacement may be offered for verified dead-on-arrival (“DOA”) cases, subject to stock availability. Items that fail inspection due to use, damage, missing components, or other non-compliance will be returned to the customer at their expense without refund.
Returns based on incorrect product selection, compatibility issues, change of preference, or buyer’s remorse may not be accepted due to the sensitive nature of electronic components.
Transit-damage claims must be reported within seven (7) days of delivery and must be supported with clear photo or video evidence. Claims raised beyond this window may be rejected due to the nature of electronic components and the risk of post-delivery handling damage.
Sale, clearance, refurbished, discounted, and open-box products shall not be eligible for standard returns, but shall be serviced strictly in accordance with the testing warranty, seller warranty, or manufacturer warranty applicable to that specific product category as disclosed at the time of sale.
This return process forms a required and binding part of Advance Computers’ overall Refund Policy applicable to AdvanceKart.
4. Refunds
Returned items will be inspected upon receipt, and the customer will be notified whether the refund has been approved. If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within approximately 7 business days, though additional time may be required by banks or payment providers to complete processing.
If 15 business days have passed since approval and the refund has not been received, customers should contact care@advancekart.in.
Return shipping may be free for defective, damaged, or incorrect products; for other returns, shipping costs may be charged or deducted from the refund at Advance’s discretion.
5. Warranty
Most products sold by AdvanceKart are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, which typically covers manufacturing defects and component failures under normal usage, and excludes physical damage, liquid damage, burn damage, mishandling, improper installation, or unauthorized repairs.
Warranty claims must be raised directly with the brand-authorized service center, and warranty terms published by the manufacturer shall prevail over all general expectations.
Customers must follow the respective brand’s procedures, which may include product registration, diagnostic checks, service-center visits, online ticket creation, or serial-number verification.
In the event the customer encounters difficulty in availing warranty service through the authorized service center, the customer may contact Advance at support@advancecomputers.co.in for assistance. Such assistance is provided solely as a facilitative measure and does not modify, extend, or replace the underlying manufacturer warranty, nor does it impose any warranty obligations on Advance beyond those expressly stated.
6. Products Sold With Expired Manufacturer Warranty
Advance may, at its discretion, sell certain products at discounted prices where the manufacturer warranty has expired. For such products, Advance may provide its own limited warranty, the duration and scope of which shall differ from standard warranties applicable to similar new products.
The terms of the Advance Warranty will be disclosed on the product page or invoice and shall apply exclusively to the purchased unit. Repairs or replacements under the Advance Warranty will be performed solely at Advance’s discretion, subject to parts availability, and may include refurbished or equivalent-grade components.
Customers may also have the option to purchase extended warranty plans (where offered), governed by the terms of the respective third-party provider or by Advance if provided in-house.
7. Out-of-Warranty Support
Products no longer covered under manufacturer warranty or Advance Warranty may be eligible for paid repairs from brand-authorized service centers or, where expressly offered, through Advance. Advance does not offer free repairs for issues outside covered warranty terms.
8. Liability, Governing Law & Force Majeure
This Policy forms an integral part of the terms of purchase. Advance shall not be liable for loss, damage, or delays arising from non-compliance with return/warranty instructions, improper packaging by the customer, unauthorized service attempts, or force majeure events, including natural disasters, courier disruptions, strikes, regulatory actions, civil disturbances, or any circumstance beyond reasonable control.
This Policy shall be governed by the laws of India, and disputes shall fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
