The dual Thermal Transfer and Direct Thermal printing modes in one unit provide complete media flexibility — Thermal Transfer for durable, long-lasting labels using wax, wax-resin, or resin ribbons for outdoor, chemical-resistant, and archival labelling, and Direct Thermal for short-term labels such as shipping labels, receipts, and queue tickets without the need for ribbon. The 300-metre ribbon capacity on a 25.4mm (1-inch) core is one of the largest in its class — meaning fewer ribbon changes during high-volume print runs, reducing downtime and per-label cost. A 110mm (4.33-inch) OD internal media supply with optional external roll mount supporting 214mm (8.4-inch) OD label rolls on a 76.2mm (3-inch) core accommodates the widest range of label roll sizes. The 127mm/s (5 IPS) print speed delivers fast label output for time-sensitive operations without sacrificing print quality. 8MB SDRAM and 4MB Flash memory with optional SD card expansion (up to 4GB) enables large graphics, font, and format storage for complex label templates. TSPL-EZ native language plus ZPL (Zebra) and EPL (Eltron/Zebra) emulation ensures seamless migration from existing Zebra printer installations without software changes.
