Each RJ45 modular plug supports 8 positions and 8 contacts (8P8C) — the standard configuration for Ethernet networking covering all 4 twisted pairs of a Cat5E cable. The transparent PC (polycarbonate) housing with UL94V-2 flame retardancy allows clear visual inspection of conductor positioning during termination — enabling the installer to verify correct wire sequence before crimping without removing the plug, reducing termination errors and rework. Contact terminals are copper alloy finished with 3 micro-inch gold plating — providing corrosion resistance, reliable low-resistance electrical contact, and long-term connectivity durability across multiple plug-jack insertion cycles. Compatible with 24–26 AWG stranded conductor cables — covering standard patch cord wire gauges used in Cat5E stranded patch cable fabrication.
